What is the Heroes Homeownership Program?
A planned education and resource-navigation program for Maryland first responders, active-duty military members, and veterans. Our first priority is a free workshop and follow-up help finding housing resources.
Are workshops available now?
Workshop dates and service availability have not yet been announced. Contact us to express interest. You can also find a HUD-approved housing counseling agency today.
Must I use David as my agent to participate?
No. The planned charitable education program will not require participants to use a particular agent or lender. The separate commission rebate does require eligible clients to use David Kelly as their buyer’s agent and meet its written terms.
What would donations support?
Launching homebuyer workshops, educational materials, resource navigation, community outreach, and reasonable program operating costs. A detailed launch budget will be shared once costs are confirmed. Learn how to support the mission.
What kind of help will the program offer?
The planned program focuses on homebuyer education, practical information, and connections to qualified housing counseling resources. Outside programs determine their own eligibility and availability.
Can my business help?
Yes. Contact us about sponsoring workshop expenses, providing meeting space, donating educational materials, or contributing qualified speakers. Support does not require participants to purchase your services.
How does the separate commission rebate work?
Eligible clients using David Kelly as their buyer’s agent may receive 35% of the buyer-agent commission he actually receives from a completed Maryland purchase, up to $2,500, subject to written terms and transaction requirements.
